Reader's Contribution: What Pure Milk Milk Taught Her Owner About Dog Adoption
The following story
was kindly forwarded to us by BeBe, and her hopes of sharing this message
across to all the Animal lovers. The unexpected friendship she had formed with
her adopted Dog has taught her life-lessons on Pet adoption, and undying love
from a voiceless bundle of joy.
Milk Milk is
currently facing health issues due to old-age, and Bebe is channeling her
heartbreak into a strong message to encourage adoption over purchasing. Here is
her story based on her experience and moments with Milk Milk- once abused,
abandoned, and eventually having the time of her life in a new found, forever
home with Bebe.
The Adoption Tale Of Milk Milk The Shih Tzu
Hi to all the
fur-mummies and fur-daddies here,
Recently I’ve noticed
there's been a lot of abandoned dogs found on the streets, especially old or
sick dogs. It is so sad and heart-breaking to witness these incidents. How
could they just abandon these poor creatures, just because they are growing old
or sick? Aren’t they supposed to be considered as our family? 😭
Let me share the
story of my baby girl with you, my little princess Milk-Milk 🐶
Can you imagine how
she felt during that time?
She was scared,
dirty, smelly and lived as a stray dog on the streets for quite some time.
Until one day, she was spotted by a kind-hearted angel on the street that
pitied her, and they sent her to the animal shelter. In the animal shelter,
there was a few newborn puppies without a mummy, and she became the new mummy
for all those puppies there.
She took care of all
the puppies and protected them like her own babies, can you imagine that??
I saw her in a little
rusty cage at the shelter with few other black puppies that was obviously not
hers. She was dirty and her fur was all tangled up. She looked at me with her
big, teary eyes and I felt sad for her. She did not deserve all that, she
should be loved and pampered, and she deserved a place called Home, her own
Home.
I decided to bring her home. (Instead of getting the cute, clean little puppy I was planning to buy earlier from a Pet shop).
I was worried when I
brought her home, as I kept thinking there must be something wrong with her
that made the previous owner abandon her. But I decided to bring her home
anyway…and yes she proved me wrong, she was a very well behaved little girl and
she's full of love. She had totally no problems at all, the one that abandoned
her in the streets is the one with problem, a serious mental problem…
She then got a new
home, a new life, and a new name, Milk-Milk...
ADOPTING HER IS THE
BEST DECISION I EVER MADE IN MY LIFE!!!!
My baby girl is
turning 13 this year…to some people, she's not cute, and she's old.
Her hearing and her
eyesight are not perfect now. And she started to have some health issues which
I worry day and night now. I'm so scared that she'll fall really sick, and I
seriously can't imagine my life without her.
If I could, I’m
willing to give all my health to her so she can stay healthy every day, for a
long-long time.
Milk-Milk gave me all
the love she had in her since the day I brought her home. She would try to
cheer me up when I'm sad. She would be there for me during my ups and downs.
She will do her best to protect me. She would never leave me when I'm sick. She
would stick to me, even when I have nothing left. She makes me happy with all
her silly actions every single day without fail.
Please consider
adopting instead of buying…
There are many
abandoned Dogs in need of a place called Home, and someone to call Family.
They will love You
more than anyone else in this world.
And to those whom
abandoned your own Furkids for whatever reason, SHAME ON YOU!!! Your Dog would
never leave you no matter what happens, they will always be with you, even when
you are poor or sick. That’s how great they are.
Please love them, and
give them the love they deserve, because they will love u more than anyone else
does. Never abandon them, no matter what happens!!
Love,
Milk-Milk's mummy,
Bebe ❤️
