No Bake Salmon Cat Treat Recipe
Cooking for your
Furkid doesn’t have to be difficult, even if you’re not a Culinary Master Chef
or regular home-maker! Pets love everything you make (just make sure it’s totally safe and edible, LOL) and by preparing treats and food for them you know exactly
what the ingredients going in are, making it not only a healthy treat, but
without harmful additives ☺
Salmon And Sweet Potato Cat Treats
Every
weekend we share with you Pet-lovers a recipe we have sourced out from similar
minds all across the world whom love their Furkids as much as we do, and this
week we have this No Bake Recipe that consists of Salmon and Sweet Potato, which
are excellent sources of Omega 3 Fatty acids protein for our Feline friends, as
seen on 12 Tomatoes, by Sarah Cool. Be sure to cook all raw ingredients
through and through!
P.S. This also makes
a great frozen snack for your Kitties in this hot-hot weather!
Ingredients
1
(14 oz.) can wild-caught salmon
(We’d opt for fresh Salmon instead of canned,
this is approximately 400 grams)
1
½ cups Sweet potato, baked and mashed
1
½ cups old-fashioned Oats
¼
cup fresh Parsley
* Silicon Fish mold
is optional

Directions
1. Combine
salmon and sweet potato in a large bowl and use two forks to break up larger
salmon pieces while mixing it in with the sweet potato.
2. In a
food processor, pulse together oats and parsley until finely ground, then pour
into salmon sweet potato mixture.
3. Fold
everything together until incorporated, then spoon mixture into silicone fish
mold.
4. Freeze
for at least 2-3 hours, or until set, then serve to your Cat as desired.
Our Note
Fishy,
crunchy and cooling? Brrrr…we can’t think of a Cat that can resist this treat. Bear in mind that treats are not meant to substitute a Pet's regular diet, its always wiser to feed treats with extreme moderation. These
ingredients are all healthy and beneficial for your feline companions, plus,
parsley acts as a breath-freshener at the same time! If you are interested to
try out a breath-freshening recipe, check one out here ☺
