Cat Found With Limbs Bounded By Cable Ties At Jurong West

Whilst making their way home, Ms Salbiah and Ms Rashal were alerted by the unusual cries of a Cat, and decided to trace the origin of the cries. To their surprise, what they found was a stray Cat with its limbs tightly bounded by cable ties. Ms Salbiah recognized the Cat as a community Cat as she is a resident of that very block.

She hurried home to fetch a pair of scissors while Ms Rashal tried her best to calm the Cat down, along with another helpful passer-by. The Cat was then freed by these ladies carefully cutting the cable ties after. Local Cat organization CWS (Cat Welfare Association) was alerted and the matter has been reported to the AVA (Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore).
