Can I Feed My Cat Salmon?

There is no qualms about Cat loving fish, and Salmon is loaded with nutritional benefits for your furry feline friend. Such as Vitamins B12 and 6, including Protein and Omega 3 Fatty Acids. These have anti-inflammatory properties and even promote better coat and joint health! However, do take note to not overfeed your kitties with Salmon, moderation is key.

A Cat’s meal should consist a healthy combination of wet and dry food, and should never be solely Salmon, nor a large portion of it. Overfeeding Salmon poses the risk of Salmonella! Instead, make sure to serve only in small portions and only cooked Salmon. Take these treats for example!
